1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cedrick Johnson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holloway clinches up against the ropes. Holloway has clasped his hands together around Johnson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Holloway is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there. Johnson tries to improve position but can't. Holloway is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Johnson is looking to reverse the position. Johnson struggling a bit here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Holloway trying to control the position but Johnson is working away. Holloway looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Johnson lands with an elbow strike from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Holloway's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Johnson is trying to control but can't.

Drew Holloway dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Holloway with a lazy takedown attempt and Johnson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Holloway's guard now. Holloway is looking to cinch up a triangle. Johnson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Holloway's body to avoid the submission. Holloway has instead reached around Johnson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Holloway arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
