Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Baxter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, New Divide. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Baxter!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter ducks under a wild hook from Dick.
Baxter plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Harry Dick has been cut.
Baxter lands a nice hook to Dick's body. Dick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dick tries to bum rush Baxter with a series of wild strikes but Baxter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Baxter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dick tries to close the distance and clinch but Baxter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dick fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dick throws out a loose jab but Baxter uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dick gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dick throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Baxter works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Baxter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dick but Dick pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Dick counters with a nice double leg into side control. Baxter won't be happy with that.
Dick decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Dick throws an elbow but Baxter slips to the side and avoids it well.
Dick has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Dick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Harry Dick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Baxter.
Dick stands up from guard. Let's bang!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baxter darts in and clinches Dick up against the cage.
Dick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Baxter just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dick manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Baxter shoots in for a double leg but Dick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Baxter tries to pull guard but Dick holds him up against the cage and eventually Baxter drops back down to his feet.

and Baxter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baxter pulls Dick in close to his closed guard and prevents Dick from doing any damage or advancing position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Baxter counters with a single leg into guard. Dick didn't expect that.
Baxter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Baxter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dick is looking for a kimura but Baxter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dick to get the leverage.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Dick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baxter.
Baxter tries for a takedown but Dick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dick fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Baxter shoots in looking for a takedown. Dick tries to sprawl out of it but Baxter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Baxter's guard.

Dick jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Baxter manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Baxter is not content to let Dick control the position.
Dick has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Dick wants to get back to striking at distance but Baxter won't allow it.
Baxter is looking to control Dick's arms but Dick gets an underhook and turns him. Now Baxter has his back to the cage.
Baxter has a couple of punches blocked by Dick.
Dick wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Baxter has him pressed against the cage.
Dick stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Dick is trying to drag Baxter to the mat but Baxter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Dick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baxter manages to break the clinch.
Dick lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Baxter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dick wants to stand up but Baxter is controlling him.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harry Dick.
I think Dick has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
