Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Wuncler Ill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer comes to the cage accompanied by Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone . Wuncler Ill has chosen I want my money as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sterling Archer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ed Wuncler Ill! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer swats away the attempt to clinch by Wuncler Ill. A chopping leg kick lands by Archer. Archer ducks under a wild hook from Wuncler Ill. Wuncler Ill misses with a double jab
and Archer counters with a takedown into side control. Archer throwing shots but missing, from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Archer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wuncler Ill is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Archer has knee on belly and moves into mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Archer trying to control but Wuncler Ill is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer moves to the back. Wuncler Ill trying to control the position but Archer manages to sink in the hooks. Wuncler Ill has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Archer. Archer looking to break Wuncler Ill's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wuncler Ill remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Archer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Wuncler Ill preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Archer. Archer throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer struggling to keep hold of the position.

This has been an exciting period of action! Archer is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wuncler Ill knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wuncler Ill for a finish. Wuncler Ill is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Archer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Wuncler Ill up.
Archer is working for a rear naked choke. Wuncler Ill is not defending it well and Archer has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Wuncler Ill refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Wuncler Ill's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sterling Archer! An out of breath and clearly excited Sterling Archer thanked The Empire Clothing and Laundry for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
