Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshawn Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sirius Eksvaerd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch comes to the cage accompanied by 12th Man (Bright Lights). Eksvaerd is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Led Zeppelin - Kashmir. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marshawn Lynch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sirius Eksvaerd! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch dives in and scores a takedown into Eksvaerd's guard. Lynch looking to sit in guard and control but Eksvaerd gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Eksvaerd pushes down on Lynch's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lynch tries to roll over but Eksvaerd keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eksvaerd is working for a kimura but Lynch is defending it quite comfortably.
Lynch won't allow Eksvaerd to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eksvaerd is trying to control the action in half guard but Lynch is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lynch looks like he's trying to stand up.

Eksvaerd looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lynch manages to get to full guard.
Eksvaerd won't allow Lynch to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lynch is on top in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lynch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lynch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lynch postures up and lands a big shot to Eksvaerd's brow. Lynch content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Eksvaerd is rocked! Lynch loads up on a big left hand. Eksvaerd felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Lynch looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Eksvaerd can't hide his disappointment, as Lynch celebrates the victory.
