The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lynch.
Brandon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lynch lands with a nice combination. Brandon backs away looking to recover.

A low kick from Lynch misses

so Brandon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lynch is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Nonprofit Vegas Elite $50 ($1000 value) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brandon wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Lynch can't keep his opponent in guard - Brandon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Brandon wants to work for an arm triangle but Lynch is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brandon is looking for a kimura but Lynch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brandon to get the leverage.
Brandon content to control rather than advance.
Lynch pushes Brandon off looking to stand but Brandon dives back in and keeps control.
Lynch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brandon on the ground.
Brandon is looking to take a break and control but Lynch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brandon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Brandon in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lynch tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Brandon!
