Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Chavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanly Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavo comes to the cage accompanied by Rico Sauve by Girardo. Williams has chosen Kenny Loggins - I'm free as his entrance music. Eddie Chavo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Chavo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stanly Williams ! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Chavo. A nice leg kick lands there from Williams . Williams lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Williams throws a leg kick which misses Chavo's front leg but catches the back leg as Chavo tries to avoid it. Eddie Chavo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams looks to land a combination but Chavo avoids it well. Williams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Williams wants it to stay on the feet. Williams lands a jab to Chavo's midsection. Chavo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chavo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Williams catches Chavo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Williams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Chavo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Williams is in Chavo's guard. Chavo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Williams scoring with some ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Chavo hang on? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanly Williams dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chavo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away. The fighters circle momentarily. Williams darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Chavo moves out of range of the body kick. Chavo tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it. Chavo blocks a head kick by Williams .
Chavo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Williams looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Chavo dodges the punch combination from Williams .
Williams goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Chavo tries to move into range but Williams moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Chavo tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chavo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chavo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Williams counters with a two punch combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Chavo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice shot by Williams . Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chavo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chavo gets caught flat footed, as Williams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stanly Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.

Chavo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Chavo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams throws an elbow that misses. Chavo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Williams 's guard. Nice move by Chavo! Chavo stopping the sweep attempt from Williams . Williams keeping moving, preventing Chavo from controlling successfully.

Eddie Chavo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Chavo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Chavo tries to clinch up. Williams lands with a cross. Chavo closes the distance but Williams moves to the side and Williams counters with a nice uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams lands an overhand right.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chavo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Chavo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chavo somewhat. Williams throws a right and a left that both miss. Williams connects with a looping right hand.
Chavo wants to clinch and Williams counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Williams is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams wants to pass the guard but Chavo is defending well. Williams is trying to control. Chavo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Chavo tries to roll over but Williams keeps him under control. Williams thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams is looking to take a break and control but Chavo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Williams is looking for a kimura but Chavo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Williams to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams leaves Chavo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Williams connects with a high kick. Chavo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Chavo stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams . Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Chavo dives in and grabs Williams 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Chavo's head and hops out. Jab by Williams . Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Williams looks for a takedown but Chavo sprawls well. Chavo shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Chavo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chavo stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams . Williams gets slowly back to his feet. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Chavo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Williams leaves Chavo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chavo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Williams defends well and Chavo ends up having to push Williams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Williams turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Williams manages to end up in side control. Williams slows the pace down. My spies in Bi-polar Asylum inform me that Williams has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Chavo struggling a bit here. Williams tries for a kimura but Chavo is defending well. Williams trying to control the position but Chavo is working away. Williams has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chavo is looking for a sweep. Williams prevents Chavo from escaping the position. Williams is trying to get an arm triangle but Chavo is defending well. Chavo prevents Williams from improving position. Chavo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Williams .
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chavo is not content to let Williams control the position. Williams working the head and body with strikes. Williams goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Chavo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Williams but great work by Chavo. Williams sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Eddie Chavo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Williams is trying is best to control the position here. Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Williams manages to get to full guard.
Williams can't keep his opponent in guard - Chavo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chavo wants to work for an arm triangle but Williams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chavo wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Williams wants to get back to his feet.
Chavo is thwarting Williams 's attempts to control the position. Stanly Williams is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams blocking the ground and pound attempt from Chavo. Williams moves into full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Stanly Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Stanly Williams very nearly forgot to thank Just Fight (Everything 7$) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Eddie Chavo spoke after the fight, saying 'BS! Come on Joe Rogan'.
