Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dent comes to the cage accompanied by tim finnegans. Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Raiders March kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harvey Dent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Jones! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a looping overhand right but Dent ducks down to avoid it. Jones cracks Dent with a right hand to the side of the head. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jones looks to throw the jab but Dent is out of range. Dent changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dent.
Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dent did well to prevent Jones getting side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Dent has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though. Dent wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones trying to control from half guard but Dent is working away. Dent won't allow Jones to pass to mount.
Henry Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dent counters with a good low kick that Jones was not able to check. Henry Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dent tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Dent counters by clinching up. Dent is struggling to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dent looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target. Dent throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones misses with a hook. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones misses with a right hand and Dent counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dent.
Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dent quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Dent is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jones with the ground and pound but Dent uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones looking to pass the guard. Dent bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. Jones looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dent puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Jones looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dent wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dent throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harvey Dent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dent tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dent somewhat. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones swings and misses with a shot to the body and Dent counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Dent to acknowledge the strikes. Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dent's guard. Jones stops Dent from standing up. Jones wants to stand but Dent is controlling his posture from full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dent holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dent defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones. Jones misses with a wild body shot. Jones misses with a left hand and Dent counters with a head kick. Dent moves out of range of the strikes. Jones lands with a right hand. Jones throws an off balance right hand
and Dent counters with a low kick, right behind Jones 's knee. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Dent circles away.
Dent misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dent manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones throws out a loose jab but Dent uses good head movement to avoid it. Jones misses with a double jab
and Dent counters with a series of strikes. Jones will be more careful next time no doubt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones fails to land the takedown. Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dent was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jones wanted to stand there but Dent had control of the position. Jones wants to pass the guard but Dent is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones gets to his feet. Dent looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jones swings for the body but Dent moves out of range.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Dent counters with a one-two to the body. Dent throws a front kick aimed at Jones's knee but Jones avoids it well. Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wants to stand but Dent has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dent wants to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones trying to control from half guard but Dent is working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Henry Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jones looks for a takedown but Dent sprawls well. Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Dent does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Dent sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dent keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dent avoids the body shot from Jones.
A combination from Jones does no damage. Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dent sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jones avoids the head kick by Dent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones. Dent gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dent pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dent lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
No joy there for Dent, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jones throws a jab when Dent was well out of range. Jones misses with a looping right. Jones goes for a double leg but Dent avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dent continues to drive forward. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Jones. Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Dent counters with a left and a right that stings Jones.
Jones is rocked! Dent lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Jones is looking to close the distance but Dent sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Jones crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Jones is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Harvey Dent! After winning the bout, Harvey Dent thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
