Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jendri Pitoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuqua kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Prodigy- Diesal Power. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
32 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frenchy Fuqua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jendri Pitoy!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuqua pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fuqua tries a head kick but it misses.
Pitoy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pitoy closes the distance but Fuqua moves to the side
and Fuqua counters with a two punch combo.
Pitoy misses with a hook.
Pitoy connects with a single shot there.
Fuqua lands with a hook. Pitoy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Jendri Pitoy has been cut.
Fuqua looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pitoy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fuqua landing knees to the body.
Pitoy scores with a shoulder strike.
Pitoy working hard to break the clinch.
Fuqua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fuqua throws a combination. Pitoy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Fuqua decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pitoy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Pitoy is not content to let Fuqua control the position.
Pitoy wants to control but Fuqua is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fuqua prevents Pitoy from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fuqua is working for a submission of some sort.

Fuqua not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Pitoy pushes Fuqua off and gets back to his feet.
Pitoy swings widly with a right hand
and Fuqua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fuqua misses with a body kick.
Jendri Pitoy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fuqua misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fuqua tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pitoy defends well and Fuqua ends up having to push Pitoy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A short right from Fuqua.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pitoy is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Fuqua tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pitoy's elbow.
Pitoy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pitoy wants to clinch.
Pitoy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fuqua scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pitoy in his tracks.
Fuqua ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fuqua jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Fuqua has cracked Pitoy with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Fuqua lands another huge swinging hook and Pitoy tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Pitoy, before Fuqua can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Frenchy Fuqua!
Our winner, Frenchy Fuqua, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
