PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Banyat Pu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lee Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Scott's choice of entrance music: Go, Go Power Rangers. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott clinches up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Scott stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jason Lee Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Scott shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pu eats them both and turns towards Scott to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Scott! Pu is out on his feet! Scott rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pu is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pu is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
