Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Bossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Flint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rey Bossman!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flint throws a series of punches but Bossman moves out of range.
Bossman avoids the head kick by Flint.
Flint tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bossman is able to avoid easily.
Bossman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Flint defends well and Bossman ends up having to push Flint into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bossman is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Flint to keep the fight standing.
Bossman can't get the takedown.
Travis Flint has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rey Bossman.
Bossman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Flint gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bossman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Flint pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bossman wants to slow Flint down by chopping away at his legs.
Bossman shoots for a takedown but Flint saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Flint shoots in for a takedown but Bossman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bossman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bossman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Flint sprawls well. Flint wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bossman gets slowly back to his feet.
Bossman keeps the fight on the outside.
Bossman misses with a takedown attempt
and Flint counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Flint throws a head kick that misses.
Bossman scores with a sloppy right hand. Flint should have avoided that one.
Flint tries to clinch up.
Flint doesn't manage to clinch there - Bossman circles away.
Flint swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Flint tries to clinch up but Bossman circles away and keeps his distance.
Bossman tries for a takedown but Flint sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Flint looks to score with a jab to the body but Bossman is just out of range.
Rey Bossman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bossman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Flint sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bossman somewhat.
Bossman shoots in looking for a takedown but Flint manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bossman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Flint looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Flint fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Flint as Bossman shoots in.
Bossman misses with a takedown
and Flint counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bossman looks winded!
Flint throws a sloppy head kick and Bossman moves out of range easily.

Flint instigates a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bossman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Flint after a bit of a struggle.

Flint drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Flint looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flint lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Flint wants to pass the guard but Bossman is keeping the position.

Bossman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Flint wants to stand but Bossman is controlling his posture from full guard.

Bossman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Flint is aware though and is defending well.
Flint trying to control the position from guard on top but Bossman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Flint got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bossman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Flint has managed to get both his arms back between Bossman's legs - danger averted.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flint passes Bossman's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bossman felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Flint is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Flint passes to full mount!
Flint putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Bossman is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Flint wants to get back to his feet but Bossman is holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flint looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Bossman tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Flint looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Flint working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bossman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Bossman is not content to let Flint control the position.

Bossman looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bossman wants to get back to full guard.
Flint tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Flint frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Flint is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bossman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bossman is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Flint has taken his back.

Bossman has hold of Flint's leg, trying to break free but it's let Flint lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Bossman is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Flint throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Travis Flint!
A very excited looking Travis Flint made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
