Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ninnerd Disms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ninnerd Disms! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David James! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James shoots in for a takedown but Disms shows good takedown defense. Disms avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sloppy strikes from James. Those never looked like landing. The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Disms dodges the punch combination from James.
James tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Disms defends well and James ends up having to push Disms into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. James has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Disms avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ninnerd Disms has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David James. Disms is trying to maintain a safe position but James gets an underhook and turns Disms into the cage. James jumps guard but Disms turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. James has Disms pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Disms manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Disms breaks from the clinch.
James fails with the takedown. James misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
James fails with the takedown. James closes this distance looking for a takedown but Disms circles away. James's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and James duly obliges. James misses with a few strikes there.
James fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Disms throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James misses with a hook. James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. James shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Disms is trying to defend but James finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. James thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Disms's head. James not landing any meaningful shots this time. James looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Disms with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. James missing with the ground and pound from half guard. James thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Disms's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, James seems content to control. Disms on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. James controlling the action here. James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Disms does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
David James has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. James goes for a double leg but Disms avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Disms continues to drive forward. James wants to break free but Disms has control.
Disms working some nice short punches in the clinch. James manages to pull guard.
James trying to control the position here. James looking for a triangle here. Disms is fighting it but it looks tight! James pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Disms is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). David James! A pretty intense looking David James took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
