4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kay Yak! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yak drops Reaper with a left right combo! Yak follows him down to the ground into side control.
Reaper is rocked!
It looks like Sid Reaper has been cut. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yak misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Oh Reaper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Reaper is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Yak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Yak missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Yak missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Yak throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Reaper actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reaper is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Yak is tapping! Great win for Reaper!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sid Reaper! In his post fight interview, Sid Reaper started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
