The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carliano throws a head kick that misses.
Carliano tries a head kick but it misses.
Carliano tries to clinch there but Walker circles away.
Carliano throws a combination that misses
and Walker counters with a three punch combo that has Carliano backing up. Carliano nods at Walker to acknowledge the strikes.
Carliano throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily.
Walker avoids the head kick by Carliano.
Carliano throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carliano misses the shot to the body.
Carliano tries to close the distance and clinch but Walker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Carliano tries to clinch but Walker moves out of range.
Carliano tries a head kick but it misses.
Carliano fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Guseppe Carliano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carliano moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off.
Carliano finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Carliano tries to close the distance and clinch but Walker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Carliano lands with a good body shot.

Carliano rushes Walker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Carliano lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
I was talking to Walker's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Walker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Carliano has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Carliano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carliano lands a nice leg kick that just misses Walker's sensitive parts.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carliano tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Walker counters with a three punch combo that has Carliano backing up. Carliano nods at Walker to acknowledge the strikes.

Carliano is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carliano tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Walker counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Carliano has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
