Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ram Man Rijal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Bayliss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ram Man Rijal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Psycho Bayliss!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bayliss misses with a head kick.
Rijal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Bayliss gets a clinch.
Rijal fails to pull guard.
Bayliss throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Rijal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rijal tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bayliss manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bayliss feints and then cracks Rijal's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rijal down.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rijal takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Bayliss's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bayliss throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rijal works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bayliss must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rijal not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bayliss wants to pass the guard but Rijal is keeping the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bayliss keeps trying to improve his position.

and Bayliss counters with a big head kick but Rijal shrugs it off.

Bayliss has closed the distance and engaged Rijal in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rijal throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bayliss blocks it with crossed arms.

Bayliss fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bayliss tries a head kick but it misses.

Rijal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bayliss paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rijal chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bayliss can pounce on him.

Psycho Bayliss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rijal takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Rijal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bayliss fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rijal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Well Bayliss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
