Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Nuke Em (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakbar Shamuli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakbar Shamuli told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicholas Nuke Em!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hakbar Shamuli!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice combo by Nuke Em! Oh, that's hurt him - Shamuli falls to the canvas and Nuke Em follows him into side control.
Shamuli is rocked!
It looks like Hakbar Shamuli has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shamuli is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Shamuli is still in real trouble! Can Nuke Em finish him?
Nuke Em will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shamuli seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shamuli explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Shamuli has his takedown stuffed
and Nuke Em cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nuke Em wants to clinch.
Shamuli is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nuke Em.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nuke Em.
Shamuli fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nuke Em sprawls well initially but Shamuli persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Nuke Em can't do much from the bottom here.

Nuke Em tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shamuli wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Nuke Em's face as Shamuli controls the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hakbar Shamuli.

Shamuli shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nuke Em napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Nuke Em tries to improve position but can't.
Shamuli tries to move into full mount but can't pass Nuke Em's legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

You can see the frustration on Nuke Em's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Shamuli wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nuke Em keeps working.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Shamuli moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Nuke Em has worked his arm free - good work by Nuke Em!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nuke Em wants to control but Shamuli postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nicholas Nuke Em will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Hakbar Shamuli's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Good leg kick by Nuke Em there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Shamuli is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nuke Em sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nuke Em jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nuke Em throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nuke Em is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Nuke Em scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Shamuli closes the distance and clinches up with Nuke Em, looking for a takedown. Shamuli pushes Nuke Em against the cage but Nuke Em circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nuke Em lands a two punch combo.
Shamuli tries for a takedown but Nuke Em sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nicholas Nuke Em has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hakbar Shamuli.
Shamuli fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nicholas Nuke Em is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nicholas Nuke Em seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shamuli misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Nuke Em is looking to clinch.

Nuke Em stuns Shamuli with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nuke Em lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Shamuli out cold! Shamuli is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nicholas Nuke Em!
In defeat, Hakbar Shamuli stepped up to the mic, saying 'Needa Practice More'.
