Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Smokey Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Marr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marr has chosen Falls as his entrance music. Joe Marr has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Smokey Robinson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Smokey Robinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Marr! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Marr. Robinson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Marr sprawls well initially but Robinson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Marr is trying to stand.
Robinson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Marr wants to improve his position but Robinson is controlling well.
Robinson is looking to stall here but Marr recovers full guard. Marr pulls Robinson in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Robinson is breathing heavily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marr is landing with some decent strikes but Robinson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Robinson is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marr looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Let's hope that Marr has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Marr working away from the top, dropping strikes. Marr controlling from the full mount. BOOM! Marr connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Marr looks to land a combination but Robinson avoids it well. Robinson fails with the takedown. Marr connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Robinson clinches up with Marr and pushes him back against the cage. Marr lands a nice knee to the body. Marr tries a knee to the head but Robinson blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Robinson controls Marr momentarily but Marr frees himself. Marr won't allow Robinson to sweep him here. Robinson is pulling down on Marr's head. It's preventing any offense from Marr, at least for the moment. Robinson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marr is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Marr sitting in guard, not really doing much. Robinson wants to hit a switch here but Marr passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Robinson there! Marr sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Marr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marr gets in close and instigates a clinch. Marr scores with a knee to the head.
Robinson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marr smiles and moves away.

Robinson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Marr regains half guard. Robinson trying to control from Marr's half guard. Marr has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Robinson thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marr managing to control the position. Robinson stopping the sweep attempt from Marr. Marr keeping moving, preventing Robinson from controlling successfully. Robinson wants to pass the guard but Marr is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marr pulls Robinson in close to prevent any damage. Robinson trying to control but Marr is working from the bottom. Marr pulls Robinson in close to his closed guard and prevents Robinson from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Robinson wants to get up but he can't break Marr's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Marr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Marr keeping moving, preventing Robinson from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Marr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
