Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Petkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winchester comes to the cage accompanied by Carry on my wayward son. Petkovic has chosen BvC Crew - KOSOVO as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkovic throws a head kick that misses.
Winchester checks a leg kick.
Petkovic is looking to land body kicks.
Petkovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Petkovic throws a body kick that misses.
Petkovic leaves Winchester with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Petkovic dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Winchester. That did some damage!

Petkovic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Winchester.
Petkovic gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Winchester counters with a nice low kick that buckles Petkovic's knee momentarily.
Petkovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Petkovic goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A clash of legs there as Winchester blocks the low kick.
Petkovic throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Winchester counters with a left and a right that stings Petkovic.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Winchester keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Winchester moves out of range of the body kick from Petkovic.
The fighters circle momentarily. Petkovic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Petkovic fails to land with a series of punches.
Winchester misses with a left hand
and Petkovic counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Petkovic throws a jab but it's blocked by Winchester.

Winchester throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Winchester lands a left and a right that send Petkovic crashing to the mat, dazed. Winchester thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Petkovic is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Winchester instigates a clinch.
Petkovic wants to break free but Winchester has control.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Winchester as Petkovic tries to tie him up.
Winchester creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Petkovic with a big uppercut! Petkovic tries to clinch up but Winchester pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Petkovic to the mat! Petkovic covers up and Winchester unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sam Winchester!
Our winner, Sam Winchester, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
