Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Hobbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Om Nom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hobbs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hell's Bells - ACDC. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nom stuffs the takedown attempt from Hobbs. Hobbs gets slowly back to his feet.
Nom stuffs the takedown.
Hobbs moves out of range as Nom strikes.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nom!
Hobbs tries to clinch but Nom is having none of it.
Hobbs thows a body shot but no joy.
Hobbs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Hobbs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hobbs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hobbs avoids the head kick by Nom.
Hobbs tries for a takedown but Nom sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hobbs instigates a clinch.
Hobbs misses with the head strike.

Hobbs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hobbs shoots in for a double leg but Nom sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nom misses with a wild combination.
Nom tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hobbs avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nom swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nom misses with a two punch combination.
Hobbs shoots for a takedown but Nom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hobbs gets a clinch.

Hobbs has Nom pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hobbs pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nom tumbling to the mat - Hobbs dives into Nom's guard.
Hobbs is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Nom really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hobbs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hobbs lands a couple of elbows.
Nom looks gassed!

Nom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hobbs scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hobbs is in close to Nom's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hobbs is looking to work some ground and pound but Nom has wrist control.
Hobbs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hobbs working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hobbs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Hobbs drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hobbs as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Nom screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hobbs! Nice submission victory there!
