Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukas Rozwal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rozwal has chosen TYLKO ONA JEDYNA as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ralph Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lukas Rozwal!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Rozwal.
Knight really is a fat lump.
Rozwal looks to land a combination but Knight avoids it well.
Nice uppercut lands for Rozwal. That snapped Knight's head back.
Rozwal paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Knight looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rozwal wants to control but Knight passes into side.
Rozwal tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Knight presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Rozwal tries to reverse the position but Knight maintains control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Knight looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Knight avoids the attempt from Rozwal to control.
Rozwal throwing hammer fists to the chest of Knight. What's that going to do exactly?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rozwal really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Knight is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Rozwal wants to control but Knight is having none of it.
Rozwal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rozwal might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Knight haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rozwal is in a horrible position here. Knight smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rozwal keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rozwal slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Knight lands with a punch from half guard.
Knight throwing shots but Rozwal is blocking nicely.
Knight seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rozwal trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rozwal tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ralph Knight will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Rozwal attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Rozwal tries to close the distance and clinch but Knight swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rozwal stuffs the takedown attempt from Knight. Knight gets slowly back to his feet.
Rozwal lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rozwal scores with a punch to the head.

Knight looking to score a takedown here. Rozwal is defending well but Knight drives through and ends up in Rozwal's guard.
Knight distracts Rozwal with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knight with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Rozwal controls Knight momentarily but Knight frees himself.

Rozwal tries to strike from the bottom.
Rozwal looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Knight puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rozwal gets full guard.

Rozwal looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Knight passes into side control.
Rozwal tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Knight presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Knight scoring with strikes but Rozwal is staying in there.
Rozwal is trying desperately to improve position.
Rozwal tries to hold on but Knight postures up.
Knight looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Rozwal wants to hold on but Knight pushes him away.
Knight is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Knight lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Rozwal hang on?
Ralph Knight overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Knight lands a big shot there that rocks Rozwal but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rozwal wants to hold on but Knight pushes him away.
Rozwal really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Knight avoids the attempt from Rozwal to control.
The referee warns Rozwal that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rozwal working to try and regain half guard.
Knight lands with some strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ralph Knight dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Knight scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Knight cracks Rozwal with a big right hand but Rozwal just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Knight has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Knight takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Rozwal tries a low kick but Knight avoids it.
Rozwal tried to score with a low kick but Knight checks it.
Rozwal throws a big shot that misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Knight is defended easily by Rozwal.
Knight takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rozwal darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rozwal throws a right hand that Knight ducks under and follows up with a left that Knight also avoids with ease.
Knight takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rozwal is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Rozwal is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Knight is defended easily by Rozwal.
Knight walks forward, straight into a front kick from Rozwal.
Knight moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lukas Rozwal has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rozwal has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Rozwal uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Knight has time to react.
Rozwal misses with a wild body shot.
Rozwal works Knight's body with a nice hook.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rozwal wants to control but Knight postures up.
Rozwal sneaks back into half guard.
Rozwal takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rozwal tries to get to full guard but Knight has control of the leg.

Knight in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Rozwal is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rozwal wants to get back to full guard but Knight has passed into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Lukas Rozwal.
I think Knight has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
