Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Havener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havener comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Quack Like a Duck: The Goat an Your MOM kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Havener!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Havener jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sanchez has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Sanchez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Havener uses from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Havener tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanchez was well out of range. Poor timing from Havener.

Sanchez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sanchez moves out of range of the body kick from Havener.
Havener lands with a hook. Sanchez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sanchez drops his hands momentarily and Havener takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Havener fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sanchez, pushing him back against the cage.

Havener tries to score a body lock takedown but Sanchez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

and Sanchez counters with a head kick. That will keep Havener thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrew Havener showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
