Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Zabat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoshi Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zabat comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke and Mirrors -RJD2. Giorgio Zabat has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobayashi swats away the attempt to clinch by Zabat.

Kobayashi drives through with a takedown into Zabat's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Kobayashi wants to pass the guard but Zabat is keeping the position.
Zabat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kobayashi is one step ahead there.

Kobayashi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kobayashi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Zabat is looking for a triangle but Kobayashi pushes his legs off easily.
Zabat avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kobayashi trying to control but Zabat is working from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zabat looking for a sweep. Not yet Zabat, not yet.

Zabat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kobayashi is looking for a sweep. Zabat is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kobayashi preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Kobayashi wants to get back to his feet.
Zabat wants to pass to mount but Kobayashi is defending the position.
Zabat is thwarting Kobayashi's attempts to control the position.
Zabat moves into full mount! Kobayashi won't be happy about that!
Zabat trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Zabat looking to control and managing it successfully.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Zabat is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kobayashi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kobayashi shrugs it off.
Zabat wants to control but instead Kobayashi manages to regain half guard.

Zabat is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kobayashi defends it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zabat passes the guard and advances to mount!

Kobayashi is trying to escape the mount.

Zabat is working for a guillotine from mount but Kobayashi frees his head quite easily.
Zabat blocks Kobayashi's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Kobayashi is wriggling around trying to escape.

Zabat wants to finish this one by submission but Kobayashi is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zabat.
Zabat can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kobayashi is looking to escape.

Kobayashi working to try and regain half guard.

Kobayashi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Zabat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kobayashi can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kobayashi swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Kobayashi is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Zabat avoids the attempt from Kobayashi to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Giorgio Zabat dominated that round.
That's time! Zabat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Zabat has closed the distance and engaged Kobayashi in a clinch.

Zabat is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kobayashi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Zabat to the mat. Zabat regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Zabat has his feet on Kobayashi's thighs here. He's pushed Kobayashi off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kobayashi screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
