The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Basra.
Basra fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Terrible looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Basra scores with a nice head shot.

Terrible walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Basra checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Basra bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Basra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Terrible manages to avoid it.
Basra cracks Terrible with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The crowd cheers as Basra lands an impressive looking overhand right. Terrible doesn't seem phased though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Basra is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Terrible accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
