Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Gaarlandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronko Banger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Banger.
Gaarlandt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Banger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gaarlandt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Banger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Banger uses his free foot to push down on Gaarlandt's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gaarlandt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gaarlandt is just riding it out for now. Banger eventually gives up the hold.

Banger is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gaarlandt to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gaarlandt shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Banger dives in and grabs Gaarlandt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gaarlandt pushes down on Banger's head and hops out.

Banger closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gaarlandt's guard.

Banger reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Banger taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gaarlandt!
