Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Sternik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sternik has chosen Skillet - Monster as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Nick Good has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nick Good seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Good! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrzej Sternik! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sternik takes a step back to recover. Good comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sternik tries to bum rush Good with a series of wild strikes but Good uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Good throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sternik moves out of range of the body kick from Good.
Sternik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Good throws out the jab. Good jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sternik scores with a nice right hand.
Good connects with a body shot that sends Sternik's belly button to the back. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That kick from Good tenderised Sternik's leg. Sternik is trying to keep his angry face on. Good lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Good throws a head kick but Sternik moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Sternik does no damage. Good cracks the inside of Sternik's front leg. Good drives through and clinches with Sternik against the cage.
Good tries to work over Sternik's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Good has a couple of punches blocked by Sternik.
Sternik tries to circle away but Good has him pinned against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Good creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Good keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sternik's efforts to push away. Good working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Good swings wildly with an uppercut but Sternik uses good head movement to avoid it. Good throws a head punch that misses. Good misses with some punches.
Good fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sternik can't break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Good. Sternik blocking some punches.
Good misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sternik prevents a body shot from Good. Good misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sternik tries to break the clinch but Good is controlling the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sternik gets control of Good's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sternik will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Good seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Good has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sternik is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Good is aware though and is defending well. Sternik has his foot on Good's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Good works his way back into a safe position though. Good knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sternik on the ground. Good trying to control but Sternik is working from the bottom. Good sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good is pushing down on Sternik's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sternik is fighting to maintain full guard but Good has managed to sneak the leg through. Sternik works his way to full guard. Good work. Good wants to stand and escape but instead Sternik has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Sternik drops back, looking for a kneebar! Good looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Good looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Good! Both fighters take a look at the clock. Good working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good trying to control the action but Sternik is working from the bottom. Good content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sternik tries to buck Good off but Good is having none of it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Good wants to stand but Sternik has his arm trapped. Sternik struggling a bit here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Good dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Sternik counters with a nice uppercut. Sternik ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Good lands a right hook to the body.
Good lands with a nice body punch. Good is looking to slow Sternik down with leg kicks. A cross from Good lands. This has been an exciting period of action! Donk. Sternik catches Good right on the button with a cross. Good misses with a double jab.
Sternik slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Good connects with a nice looking jab.
Good throws a hook but Sternik avoids it easily. Nick Good seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good throws a hook but Sternik avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good throws a big shot that misses. Good jabbing away but nothing is landing. Good lands a leg kick that knocks Sternik off balance momentarily. Good pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Good looks to land a right hand but Sternik moved out of range. Good throws a body punch but Sternik moves out of range. Good tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sternik was well out of range. Poor timing from Good. Sternik throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Good lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good misses with a hook. Sternik ducked under it nicely. Nice body kick there by Good.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sternik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Good sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sternik changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Good connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good throws a head kick but Sternik moves out of range.
Nick Good is winning the standup battle so far. Good throws a hook but Sternik avoids it easily. Sternik moves out of range as Good strikes. Good looks to land a left hand but Sternik moved out of range nicely. Sternik drops Good with a huge uppercut! Good drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Sternik is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
