Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Twardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Finnan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Twardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roddy Finnan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twardy ducks under a wild hook from Finnan.
Finnan misses with a straight right.
Twardy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Twardy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Twardy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finnan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Finnan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Twardy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Twardy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Finnan has a takedown stuffed.
Twardy shoots for a double leg takedown but Finnan sprawls well. He's pushed Twardy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
With the fighters up against the cage, Finnan throws an elbow but misses.
Twardy is working for takedown but Finnan is calmly controlling the position for now.

Twardy has gone for a leg lock! Finnan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Twardy's guard.
Twardy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Finnan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Twardy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Finnan's back instead.

Well Finnan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
