Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Handeson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Handeson comes to the cage accompanied by Go Hard. Ryan Williams will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Handeson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Williams! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Williams loads up on a big right hand but Handeson slips the punch. Williams looks to land a right hand but Handeson moved out of range. Handeson closes the distance and clinches. Williams looking to slow down the pace here. Williams tries to break the clinch but Handeson is controlling the position. Handeson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Handeson rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. Williams is trying to break the clinch but Handeson has him pressed against the cage. Handeson manages to break the clinch.
Williams does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Handeson scores a takedown into full mount! Williams is in all sorts of trouble here.
Handeson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Williams working to try and regain half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Handeson trying to control but Williams is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Williams throwing hammer fists to the chest of Handeson. What's that going to do exactly? Williams tries to get back to half guard but can't. Handeson controlling the position easily from mount. The referee stands the fighters back up. Ben Handeson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Williams throws a lazy right hand but Handeson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Handeson throws a big shot that misses. A slow jab from Williams misses its intended target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Handeson throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Williams misses with an uppercut. Handeson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Williams wants to improve his position but Handeson is controlling well.
Handeson controlling the pace. Handeson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Handeson is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Williams tries to get to full guard but Handeson has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Handeson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Handeson off to one side. Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Handeson scores a takedown into full mount! Handeson tries to control but Williams wriggling away. Williams throwing hammer fists to the chest of Handeson. What's that going to do exactly? Williams regains half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Handeson stalling. Williams flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries to kick Handeson off but Handeson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Handeson stalling. Handeson wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy. It looks like Handeson is going to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Williams misses with a low kick. Ben Handeson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Ben Handeson has been cut. Williams misses with a looping left. Handeson slips a straight right by Williams. Williams misses with a body kick. A jab from Williams misses. Nice defenses there by Handeson. Handeson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Williams is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Williams missing with a left hand there. Handeson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Williams connects with a crisp jab. Williams tries to clinch and Handeson counters with a shoot takedown. Williams fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Handeson!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams working Handeson over with strikes here. Handeson tries to lock up and control but Williams gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Williams looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Handeson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Williams throwing strikes here but Handeson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
BOOM! Williams connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Williams is landing with some decent strikes but Handeson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Williams lands a big elbow. Handeson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Handeson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Handeson wants to hold on but Williams pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Handeson?

Ryan Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ben Handeson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Handeson moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off. Williams thuds a left hand into Handeson's body. Handeson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but Handeson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ben Handeson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Williams is not content to let Handeson control the position. Handeson blocks the strikes from Williams.
Williams tries to get to full guard but Handeson has control of the leg. Handeson is keen to just control but Williams is a slippery customer. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Handeson on that attempt. Handeson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Williams lands a jab to the nose. Handeson tries to score with a low kick but Williams moves his leg out of the way. Handeson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Handeson ducks under a wild hook from Williams. Handeson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side. Handeson misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams lunges at Handeson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Handeson's hand. Handeson slips a jab from Williams. Williams scores with a nice strike. Handeson moves away from the strike by Williams. Handeson moves out of range as Williams strikes. Handeson darts in and clinches Williams up against the cage. Williams gets through Handeson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Handeson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Williams just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Handeson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Handeson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Handeson lands an elbow inside. Handeson pulls guard. Williams stands up from guard. Let's bang! Good exchange - Williams coming out on top. Williams fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Handeson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A shot to de liver by Williams. Beautiful body shot. Williams walks forward, straight into a front kick from Handeson. Williams tries to clinch up but Handeson circles away and keeps his distance. Williams throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Handeson misses with a two punch combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target. Handeson takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Handeson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Williams. That did some damage! Handeson moves out of range as Williams strikes. Williams cracks Handeson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Handeson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams. A head kick misses from Handeson. Horrible takedown by Handeson or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad. Handeson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Handeson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Williams is looking to get back to full guard here but Handeson has managed to pass to side control instead.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
