The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away.

and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ortiz thinking.
Ortiz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Williams.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williams lands a big head kick that sends Ortiz tumbling to the mat! Williams takes a step backwards and waves Ortiz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Angel Ortiz has been cut.

Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Williams unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ortiz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Williams obliges.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ortiz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Williams - the referee stops the clock and Ortiz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Williams. Ortiz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ortiz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Williams fakes the leg kick and cracks Ortiz in the body.
Ortiz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Williams moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Ortiz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Williams. That one must have hurt.
Williams looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Williams circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Ortiz drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Williams follows Ortiz to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
