Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Gragula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Trap!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trap.
Trap shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gragula manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gragula looking for a guillotine here but Trap defends easily.
Trap has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gragula to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Trap is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gragula pulls down on the head and he's put Trap to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Viktor Gragula!
Viktor Gragula decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
