Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yury Ignashevich!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignashevich fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Conan dives in and grabs Ignashevich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ignashevich pushes down on Conan's head and hops out.
Yury Ignashevich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid body kick from Conan.
Ignashevich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Conan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ignashevich throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Conan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Ignashevich lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ignashevich.
It looks like Micheal Conan has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ignashevich fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ignashevich shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Conan as he avoids it easily.
Conan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Conan wants to control but Ignashevich is keeping him busy.

Conan is working for a submission of some sort.
Conan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ignashevich keeps working.
Conan is pressing down on Ignashevich's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ignashevich is holding on for now.
Micheal Conan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ignashevich keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Conan tries to clinch but Ignashevich moves away
and Ignashevich counters with a straight that turns Conan's legs to rubber! Ignashevich pushes forward with more strikes and Conan goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Yury Ignashevich decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
