Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Divock Origi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Skeet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Origi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vamos a la playa. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Divock Origi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Skeet! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Origi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Origi connects with a body shot. Skeet shoots in and gets a takedown into Origi's guard. Origi wants to get back to his feet but Skeet is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Origi is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Skeet dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Check out the look on Skeet's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The ground and pound from Skeet seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Origi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Skeet asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skeet working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skeet fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Origi wants to get back to his feet. Origi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Skeet on the ground. Skeet lands an elbow. Skeet throws a strike aimed at the side of Origi's head but Origi avoids it well. Origi looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Origi dodges the ground and pound from Skeet. Origi tries to escape but Skeet is in control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skeet misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Origi avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Skeet. Skeet sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Origi is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Origi is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Skeet has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The strikes coming from Skeet are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Origi tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Origi has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Even with his hooks in, Skeet manages to miss with strikes from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but DJ Skeet will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Origi scores with a shot to the body.
Origi catches Skeet with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Origi misses with a wild body shot. Origi punishes Skeet's body with a nice straight punch. Origi throws a shot to the body.
Origi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Origi lands with a shot to the body. Origi lands a big uppercut and Skeet crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Skeet looks OK. Origi waves Skeet back to his feet!
Skeet is rocked! Divock Origi is winning the standup battle so far. Skeet is breathing heavily. Origi drops Skeet with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Skeet! Origi dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Divock Origi! A victorious Divock Origi thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
