Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Earthbreaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earthbreaker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Earthbreaker wants to pass to mount but Miranda is defending the position.
Miranda is trying to stand.
Miranda tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Earthbreaker has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Earthbreaker controlling the position easily from mount.
Earthbreaker throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Miranda is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Miranda sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Miranda manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Earthbreaker keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Earthbreaker is trying to trip Miranda. He has hold of a leg but Miranda is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Earthbreaker persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Miranda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Earthbreaker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miranda sprawls well initially but Earthbreaker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Aaron Earthbreaker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Earthbreaker misses with a body kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Miranda enables Earthbreaker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miranda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Miranda wants to stand and escape but Earthbreaker is having none of it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Earthbreaker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Miranda pushes Earthbreaker off and scrambles back to his feet.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Aaron Earthbreaker has got the better of the ground game so far.

Well Earthbreaker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
