Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Choel Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wet Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wet Hell will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Choel Six!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wet Hell!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Six tries to clinch but Hell moves away

and Hell counters by moving into the clinch.
Six stops a takedown attempt from Hell.
Six has had enough of the clinch but Hell keeps him there for the moment.
Six is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hell is keeping busy.
Hell goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Six working hard to break the clinch.

Six is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hell can't fight it off and eventually Six manages to take the fight to the floor. Hell looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Six with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hell seems keen to control Six's posture.
Six has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Six trying to control the position from guard on top but Hell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Six throws a big elbow that misses.
Hell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Six. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hell is looking to stand up but Six isn't so interested in that idea.
Hell looking for a sweep. Not yet Hell, not yet.
Six advances to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hell has his hands clasped together around Six's back. He's all about the action.

Hell pushes Six off and gets back to his feet.

Six bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hell is not content to let Six control the position.
Hell is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Six wants to control but Hell is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hell tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Six could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

We're going to have a standup here because Choel Six wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Hell throws a body punch but Six moves out of range.

Six shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Six was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Six trying to control the action but Hell is working from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Choel Six dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Hell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Choel Six seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Six just misses with a punch to the body.
Hell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Six shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hell is refusing to be controlled, as Six sits in half guard.

Six is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Six.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hell gets full guard.
Six preventing the sweep.
Six wants to pass the guard but Hell is keeping the position.
Hell tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hell keeping moving, preventing Six from controlling successfully.
Hell tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Six might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Six is looking for a sweep. Hell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hell wants to pass to mount but Six is defending the position.
Hell stalling.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Wet Hell was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Six looking to score a takedown here. Hell is defending well but Six drives through and ends up in Hell's guard.
Six wants to stand but Hell is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hell pulls Six in close to prevent any damage.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Wet Hell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Six closes the distance looking to clinch

and Hell moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Choel Six will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Six closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hell quickly recovers to half guard.

Hell has one foot on Six's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Six shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Six stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Six trying to control the position from guard on top but Hell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hell uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Six darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hell kicks off Six and gets to his feet.

Six shoots in and bounces Hell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Six trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hell throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Six pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hell is keeping the position for now.
Six is working hard here to advance position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hell controlling the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Six bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hell isn't going anywhere.

Six is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hell has escaped the position, nice work there.
Six throws a strike aimed at the side of Hell's head but Hell avoids it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hell is looking to reverse the position.
Six wants to stand but Hell is controlling his arm.
Hell wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

And that's the end of the fight!
Choel Six showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Six, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
