Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Binse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skinner Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - A Love More True. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Binse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Skinner Crowe! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crowe takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Crowe dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Binse steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crowe. Binse moves out of range of the strikes. Crowe throws a front kick aimed at Binse's knee but Binse avoids it well. Crowe throws a body shot but no joy. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Crowe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Crowe throws a body kick that misses. Crowe throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Binse defending well as Crowe loads up on a big left hand. Jab, jab by Binse - just one landing. An inside leg kick lands from Binse. A good leg kick by Crowe. Binse walks into a jab. We've been hearing reports that Binse has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Binse throws a sloppy head kick and Crowe counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Binse not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Binse wants to sweep here but Crowe controlling him for the moment. Crowe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Crowe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Crowe trying to control but Binse is working from the bottom. Binse is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crowe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Binse swivels though and keeps the full guard. Binse manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crowe manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Crowe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Binse wants to pass the guard but Crowe is keeping the position. Crowe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Binse can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Crowe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Binse defends it easily. Crowe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Binse is aware though and is defending well. Binse throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowe keeping moving, preventing Binse from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Binse wants to pass the guard but Crowe is keeping the position. Crowe looking for a guillotine here but Binse defends easily.
Binse has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Crowe is looking for a triangle here but Binse uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Crowe is looking to regain half guard here but Binse keeps moving and retains side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crowe thuds his shin into the meat of Binse's side. Crowe lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Crowe throws a sloppy head kick and Binse counters by clinching up. Binse misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Binse lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Binse prevents a body shot from Crowe. Crowe is trying to pull guard but Binse has him pressed against the cage. A short right from Binse on the inside. Crowe doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Christopher Binse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Skinner Crowe. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Crowe just misses with a elbow thrown towards Binse's brow. Binse lands a left hand.

He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. This has been an exciting period of action! Crowe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Binse wants to control from the top but Crowe keeps moving. Binse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crowe works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Crowe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Binse gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Crowe looking for subs off his back but Binse has passed one foot through into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crowe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Binse scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that's the end of the fight! Christopher Binse showed his dominance in that final round. I think Binse has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Skinner Crowe spoke after the fight, saying 'Well, dang it. Guess it's the moonshine and meth business for me too. Could be worse, I guess.'.
