Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roman Chill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roman Chill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny James! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chill throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily. Chill swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Chill looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. James looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Chill! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Chill tries to buck James off but James is having none of it. James is looking to take a break and control but Chill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chill is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked James off and has taken his back! Chill throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Chill tightening his grip on James, looking for the choke. James controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's one minute gone in the round. James trying to control the hands but Chill breaks the grip. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. James preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Chill. Chill is looking for a rear naked choke here but James reverses the position brilliantly into Chill's guard!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Johnny James was stalling too much, according to the referee. James drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chill is trying to keep James in close.
James showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Chill is controlling James's posture. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chill controls James momentarily but James frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. James working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chill's head. Chill keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. James gets a double leg takedown into Chill's guard. Chill has control of James's left arm, preventing James from doing any damage. James throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. James is looking to work some ground and pound but Chill has wrist control. James forces his way into half guard. James thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chill's head. Chill is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of James's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take James's back! Chill is looking for a choke. James gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. James manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James stands and throws Chill's legs to the side, diving into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. James throws an elbow but Chill slips to the side and avoids it well. Chill defending against the ground and pound. James in side control, throwing shots but Chill defends. James throwing strikes but Chill manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chill goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, James has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chill but great work by James. James trying to control the position but Chill is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny James dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chill closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into James's guard. James is looking to stand up but Chill isn't so interested in that idea. Johnny James has got the better of the ground game so far. James preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Chill works a leg free and moves into half guard. James pushes Chill off looking to stand but Chill dives back in and keeps control.
Chill is trying to control. James wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Chill is working for a submission of some sort.
James regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chill.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chill trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. James lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Chill is trying to keep James in close.
James throws a big elbow that misses. Chill wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chill swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chill looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. James passes Chill's left leg - he's now in half guard. Chill looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chill avoiding damage under a succession of punches from James.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James moves nicely into side control. James in side control, throwing shots but Chill defends. James tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Chill is positioning himself to get back to half guard. James throws a strike aimed at the side of Chill's head but Chill avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chill gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. James thows a huge punch but Chill dodges it nicely.
James works his foot free and advances to mount. James throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
James scoring with strikes but Chill is staying in there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chill is looking to improve his position but James isn't that keen on the idea. James throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Chill because James loaded up on that one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James tries to control but Chill wriggling away. Chill defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from James. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

James in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Johnny James is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Chill is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. James is aware though and is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got James winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
