Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Untalented Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Lester has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Lester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Untalented Bean! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lester takes the fight into the clinch. Bean's coach down at Titan Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bean's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Bean is trying to force a seperation but Lester has the dominant position. Lester's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lester shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bean napping and manages to drive through into side control! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bean wants to control but Lester postures up. Bean is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bean being controlled for a moment. Lester has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bean tries to keep at a distance but Lester has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lester pulls guard. Bean trying to control the position from guard on top but Lester is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bean forces his way into half guard. Bean stops Lester from getting back to his feet.
Bean is trying to control the action in half guard but Lester is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lester is controlling Bean's position as best he can from this difficult position. Bean wants to control but Lester is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Lester wants to get back to his feet. Lester tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Bean is trying to control. Lester wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Untalented Bean hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Bean throws a right hand that Lester ducks under and follows up with a left that Lester also avoids with ease. Lester fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bean, pushing him back against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Lester.
Lester really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lester gets control of Bean's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lester will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lester can't keep his opponent in guard - Bean advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lester is trying to get back to full guard. Lester knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bean on the ground. Bean stands up from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lester lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lester pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bean fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lester, pushing him back against the cage. Lester utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Lester ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lester no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Bean wants to control from the top but Lester keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bean stands up over Lester, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lester utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lester keeping moving, preventing Bean from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Untalented Bean was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lester throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bean's waist but Bean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lester off to one side. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lester closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lester is breathing heavily. Bean wants to control but Lester is keeping busy.
Bean regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Lester dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The crowd cheers as Lester lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bean doesn't seem phased though. Bean closes the distance and pushes Lester back into the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lester as Bean tries to tie him up. Lester lands with a left to the head. Lester lands a knee to the body.
Bean wants to stall.
Lester breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lester has managed to clinch.
Lester lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bean backwards. Lester breaks the clinch.
Lester gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bean is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bean is trying to pull guard but Lester turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Lester manages to pull guard.
Bean landing some decent shots from guard. Bean pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lester is keeping the position for now. Bean trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Lester manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Lester will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bean looking for a guillotine here but Lester defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lester stopping the sweep attempt from Bean. Bean wants to control the position but Lester says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Bean is trying to maintain the position but Lester is very close to passing his half guard. Lester prevents Bean from standing back up.
Bean tries to roll over but Lester keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bean is looking to escape. Lester controlling the action here. Bean is trying to get back to full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bean is still trying to improve position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lester breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lester forces Bean back against the cage and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Bean's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lester stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Lester lands an elbow just above Bean 's eye. Dan Lester has scored more points in the clinch so far. Lester escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bean has Lester up against the cage in a clinch.
Lester lands a knee to the head.
Lester manages to break the clinch.

Bean is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lester has his hands clasped together but Bean extends and breaks Lester's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bean.
