Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eemeli Saeldur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chiun Remo!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Saeldur as Remo shoots in.
Saeldur wants to clinch.
Remo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Saeldur defends well and Remo ends up having to push Saeldur into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Remo is trying to drag Saeldur to the mat but Saeldur just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Eemeli Saeldur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chiun Remo.
Remo tries for a takedown but Saeldur manages to get underhooks.
Remo gets control of Saeldur's arms and successfully pulls guard. Remo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Saeldur will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Saeldur wants to control from the top but Remo keeps moving.
Saeldur makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Remo has his feet on Saeldur's thighs here. He's pushed Saeldur off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Saeldur screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
