Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Woodley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Hathaway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyron Woodley! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hathaway missing with a left hand there. Woodley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Woodley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hathaway. That did some damage! Hathaway tries to bum rush Woodley with a series of wild strikes but Woodley uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hathaway looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Woodley lands a really nice looking cross but Hathaway seems unphased.
A combination from Woodley does no damage. Woodley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hathaway was covering up waiting for the punch and Woodley finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Woodley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hathaway is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hathaway is figuring out what he wants to do next. Woodley won't allow Hathaway to pass to mount. Woodley wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woodley is controlling Hathaway's position as best he can from this difficult position. Hathaway is pressing down on Woodley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Woodley is holding on for now. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Woodley manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hathaway trying to control the position from guard on top but Woodley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hathaway slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Daniel Hathaway has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Woodley closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Hathaway ducks right into an uppercut from Woodley. Hathaway lands a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Woodley shoots in looking for a takedown but Hathaway manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Woodley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hathaway misses with a few strikes there.
Hathaway gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Woodley to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hathaway trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hathaway is keeping the position for now. Woodley throws an elbow that misses. Hathaway uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Woodley's guard. Nice move by Hathaway! Woodley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Woodley working a defensive guard here.

Hathaway wants to stand and escape but instead Woodley has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Woodley trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hathaway utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hathaway wants to sweep but no luck. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Woodley trying to control but Hathaway is working from the bottom. Woodley works a leg free and moves into half guard. Woodley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyron Woodley dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Woodley takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Hathaway throws a head kick that misses and Woodley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A combination from Woodley does no damage. Hathaway scores with a crisp jab that stopped Woodley in his tracks. Hathaway throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Woodley. Hathaway does a little dance to reset his feet. Hathaway moves forwards but Woodley connects with a nice, crisp jab. Hathaway swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Woodley shoots in looking for a takedown. Hathaway tries to sprawl out of it but Woodley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Hathaway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Woodley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A punch combination from Woodley misses. Hathaway lands a head shot. Daniel Hathaway is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woodley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Woodley uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Woodley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hathaway.
Woodley stalks Hathaway and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hathaway's face. Hathaway staggers backwards, shaken. Hathaway swings for the body but Woodley moves out of range.
Hathaway stuffs the takedown attempt from Woodley. Woodley gets slowly back to his feet. Daniel Hathaway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hathaway takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Woodley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hathaway as he jumps to the side. Daniel Hathaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyron Woodley. Hathaway throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hathaway rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Woodley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Woodley shoots in but Hathaway avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hathaway misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Woodley counters with a slapping leg kick. Daniel Hathaway is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Woodley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hathaway moves away. Hathaway throws a body shot but no joy. Hathaway will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hathaway throws a right and a left that both miss. The fighters circle momentarily. Hathaway darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Woodley moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Good exchange - Woodley coming out on top. Woodley keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hathaway. Woodley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hathaway. Woodley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hathaway.

Woodley then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hathaway slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Hathaway throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Woodley. Woodley scores with a nice right hand.

"Ole!" shouts Hathaway as he jumps to the side. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Woodley slips under a jab from Hathaway. Woodley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Woodley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hathaway bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hathaway's jab looks to have found its range, popping Woodley under the eye. Woodley throws a wild body kick that Hathaway sees coming a mile off. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hathaway throws a left and a right that both miss
and Woodley counters with a flying knee. Nice. Hathaway throws a nice looking combination but Woodley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Woodley looks to land a combination but Hathaway avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Hathaway will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Daniel Hathaway is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A right-left combo lands from Woodley. Woodley throws a lazy right hand but Hathaway sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Woodley with a body punch. A glancing blow. Hathaway on the wrong end of a nice jab. Hathaway throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woodley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hathaway stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Woodley takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Woodley misses with a wild body shot. Hathaway takes one to the chin there. Woodley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd cheers as Woodley lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hathaway doesn't seem phased though. Woodley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Woodley slips under a jab. Woodley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Woodley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hathaway defending well though. Woodley is looking to advance position but Hathaway won't allow it. Woodley uses his free foot to push down on Hathaway's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hathaway.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodley thowing shots but they're missing. Woodley thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Woodley tries to control but Hathaway wriggling away. Woodley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hathaway looks a forlorn figure.
Woodley landing strikes, looking to finish! Woodley throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woodley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hathaway is looking to escape. Woodley punching from mount but Hathaway doing a good job of avoiding damage. Woodley landing strikes from the mount. Woodley looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Woodley landing strikes, looking to finish! Hathaway can't escape the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hathaway is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Woodley throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hathaway because Woodley loaded up on that one.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyron Woodley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Woodley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
