Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Alexander Smirnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artie Quitter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artie Quitter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnov thuds a left hand into Quitter 's body.
Smirnov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Quitter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Smirnov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Quitter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Smirnov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Quitter cracks Smirnov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Quitter throws the kick towards the body but Smirnov avoids it.
Nice uppercut lands for Smirnov. That snapped Quitter 's head back.

We've been informed that Quitter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Quitter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Smirnov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Smirnov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Alexander Smirnov will probably get the nod.

Smirnov scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Quitter to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Quitter walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
