The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boubeez scores with a body shot.
Boubeez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Boubeez moves into range and connects with a jab.
Boubeez stuffs the takedown.
Aicrag fails with the takedown.
Aicrag uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boubeez.
Aicrag shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boubeez counters with a solid body kick.

Aicrag takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aicrag shoots in looking for a takedown but Boubeez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aicrag's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Boubeez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aicrag circles away quickly and effectively.

Boubeez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Esoj Aicrag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boubeez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aicrag.

Aicrag shoots for a double leg takedown but Boubeez sprawls well. He's pushed Aicrag's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aicrag shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boubeez as he jumps to the side.
Boubeez lands a really nice looking cross but Aicrag seems unphased.
Aicrag shoots in for a takedown but Boubeez shows good takedown defense.
Boubeez leaves Aicrag with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boubeez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boubeez tries to clinch there but Aicrag circles away.
Boubeez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aicrag moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aicrag fails with the takedown
and Boubeez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aicrag shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Aicrag closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boubeez circles away.
Aicrag throws a head kick that half lands.
Aicrag misses with a few strikes there.

and Boubeez counters with a left and a right... And another left! Aicrag is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Iliek Boubeez bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
