Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben McEnsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iivana Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evil throws a looping overhand right but McEnsie ducks down to avoid it.
No joy there for McEnsie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Evil closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Evil lands in his opponent's guard.
McEnsie controls Evil momentarily but Evil frees himself.

Iivana Evil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evil throws a good cross that connects.
McEnsie ducks under a wild hook from Evil.

and McEnsie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Evil won't be happy with that.

McEnsie cracks Evil with a big right hand but Evil just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

McEnsie remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
