Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Lebowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Pegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lebowski comes to the cage accompanied by Venetian Snares - Vida. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

27 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Pegas! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lebowski lands a jab to Pegas's midsection. Pegas tried to score with a low kick but Lebowski checks it. Pegas throws a nice head kick!
Pegas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lebowski. Lebowski's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lebowski duly obliges.
It looks like Jon Pegas has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lebowski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lebowski throws a hook but Pegas avoids it easily. Pegas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pegas misses with a kick to the body.
Lebowski throws an overhand right that lands on Pegas's shoulder, as Pegas tries to avoid the shot. Lebowski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Pegas misses the jab. Lebowski swings for the body but Pegas moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Lebowski. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lebowski. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lebowski, as that shot connected.

It looks like Jeffrey Lebowski has been cut. Lebowski checks a leg kick nicely. Lebowski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lebowski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pegas was well out of range. Poor timing from Lebowski. Lebowski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pegas sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pegas lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Lebowski misses with a hook. Pegas ducked under it nicely. Pegas throws a sloppy head kick and Lebowski moves out of range easily. Lebowski tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pegas is able to avoid easily. Jeffrey Lebowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pegas gets a clinch. Pegas lands a nice shot to the body. Pegas stalling against the cage.
Pegas scores with a nice hook to the head. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Pegas. Pegas misses with a shot to the kidneys.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lebowski tries to break the clinch but Pegas is controlling the position. Pegas creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lebowski's defenses. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Pegas. Lebowski tries to land knees in the clinch but Pegas avoids the damage to the body. Lebowski is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lebowski is trying to push Pegas away but Pegas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Pegas scores with a hook to the body. A short right from Pegas on the inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pegas. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Lebowski obliges. A left hand lands to the body for Pegas.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pegas tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Pegas content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Pegas lands a damaging elbow. Lebowski prevents a body shot from Pegas. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lebowski as Pegas tries to tie him up. Pegas is trying to break the clinch but Lebowski has him pressed against the cage. Pegas lands an elbow inside that Lebowski shrugs off. Pegas blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pegas gets through Lebowski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Pegas has Lebowski pressed against the cage, preventing Lebowski from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pegas lands a nice elbow. Pegas pushes off an throws an elbow but Lebowski leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. The referee calls for Pegas to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pegas lands an elbow inside that Lebowski shrugs off. Lebowski tries to break free but Pegas pushes him back against the cage. Lebowski blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Lebowski is looking to break free of the clinch but Pegas has double underhooks. Pegas working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Jeffrey Lebowski's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Pegas tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lebowski's elbow. Pegas has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. With the fighters up against the cage, Pegas throws an elbow but misses. The referee is keeping an eye on Pegas - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lebowski blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lebowski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A punch combination from Pegas misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Pegas dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
