Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Hungus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Dearborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hungus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams. Karl Hungus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Hungus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Dearborn! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hungus connects with a right hand. Dearborn shakes it off. Hungus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dearborn counters with a stiff right hand. Hungus takes a kick to the side of the head. Hungus scores with a takedown into Dearborn's guard. Hungus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hungus has gone for a leg lock! Dearborn slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hungus's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hungus is trying to keep Dearborn in close.
Dearborn controlling from the top position. Hungus has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Dearborn has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Hungus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hungus tries to improve position but can't. Hungus is working hard here to advance position. Dearborn remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Dearborn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hungus keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hungus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dearborn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hungus is not content to let Dearborn control the position. Hungus tries to bench press Dearborn off him but Dearborn keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dearborn wants to stand but Hungus is controlling his arm. Dearborn working away. Hungus trying to remain calm as Dearborn controls from the top position. You can see the frustration on Hungus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hungus is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Hungus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dearborn is looking to take a break and control but Hungus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hungus can't do much from the bottom here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dearborn lands the left hand. A head kick from Dearborn lands but Hungus takes it in his stride. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hungus throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Dearborn counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hungus's knee momentarily. Hungus swinging wildly here.
Will Dearborn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dearborn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Will Dearborn will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dearborn gets caught napping as Hungus dives in and scores a takedown. Dearborn manages to retain guard. Hungus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dearborn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hungus scoring with some ground and pound. Hungus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dearborn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dearborn managing to control the position. Hungus cracks Dearborn with a solid left hand. Hungus is working Dearborn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Dearborn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hungus throws an elbow that misses. Dearborn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hungus's guard. Nice move by Dearborn! Hungus is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hungus trying to strike off his back.

Dearborn trying to control the position from guard on top but Hungus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hungus looking for a sweep. Not yet Hungus, not yet. Hungus working a defensive guard here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hungus doesn't manage to clinch there - Dearborn circles away.
Hungus throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hungus throws a low kick but Dearborn avoids it. Dearborn slaps away a takedown attempt from Hungus, before circling back to the center of the mat. A nice combination there by Dearborn.

The fighters circling - Hungus throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dearborn scores with a spinning back kick! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dearborn tries to land a front kick but Hungus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Hungus tries to score with a low kick but Dearborn moves his leg out of the way. Hungus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A big right from Dearborn misses. Hungus misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hungus misses with a lunging right hand
and Dearborn counters with a series of strikes. Hungus will be more careful next time no doubt.
It looks like Karl Hungus has been cut. Hungus thuds his right hand into Dearborn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hungus fails with an attempt to clinch.
An inside leg kick from Hungus misses. Hungus scores with a nice head shot. Hungus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dearborn swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hungus decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dearborn's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dearborn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dearborn is adopting a defensive guard. Hungus working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dearborn's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hungus won't allow Dearborn to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hungus postures up in Dearborn's guard and throws a big left but Dearborn blocks it. Dearborn looking to control.
Dearborn looking for a sweep. Not yet Dearborn, not yet. Hungus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hungus throws a big elbow that misses. Hungus is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hungus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hungus tries to stand but Dearborn is controlling from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dearborn is on top in guard.
Hungus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dearborn controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hungus is trying to hold Dearborn in close to prevent damage but Dearborn has managed to pass into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hungus throws a lazy uppercut
and Dearborn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hungus misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hungus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hungus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dearborn. Dearborn finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hungus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dearborn avoids it really well and circles away. Dearborn blocks the body kick.
Hungus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dearborn paws at him with a jab and circles away. A head kick misses from Hungus. Hungus pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dearborn is out of range and Hungus settles back down. Dearborn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dearborn stuffs the takedown attempt from Hungus. Hungus gets slowly back to his feet. Dearborn throws a leg kick that is checked and Hungus makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dearborn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hungus. Dearborn clinches up with Hungus and pushes him back against the cage. Hungus lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dearborn. A nice right hand lands inside from Dearborn. Hungus lands on the inside with an uppercut. Hungus tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hungus is trying to pull guard but Dearborn has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Hungus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hungus lands a hook to the side of the head. Hungus misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dearborn.
Hungus throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dearborns head. Hungus pulls guard effortlessly. Hungus trying to strike off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hungus controls Dearborn momentarily but Dearborn frees himself. Hungus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dearborn defends well. Dearborn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hungus throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Dearborn tries to free his leg and advance position but Hungus is retaining full guard. Dearborn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Karl Hungus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Dearborn trying to control but Hungus is working from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Will Dearborn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Hungus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dearborn takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hungus misses with an uppercut. Dearborn saw that one coming. Hungus throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dearborn counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hungus's knee momentarily. Hungus misses with a few strikes there.
Dearborn pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hungus is out of range and Dearborn settles back down. Hungus misses with a kick to the body and Dearborn counters with a thumping low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dearborn throws the left hand but Hungus avoids the punch easily. Hungus keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hungus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dearborn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hungus wants to clinch. Hungus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dearborn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dearborn pushes Hungus away with a front kick. Hungus misses with a looping right. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That kick from Dearborn tenderised Hungus's leg. Hungus is trying to keep his angry face on. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dearborn throws a sloppy head kick and Hungus moves out of range easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Will Dearborn. I think Dearborn has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
