The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senorita tries to close the distance and clinch but Dillishaw swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dillishaw moves in looking to clinch but Senorita pushes him off.
Senorita misses with the combination.
Dillishaw fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Senorita, pushing him back against the cage.
Dillishaw drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dillishaw has Senorita pressed against the cage, preventing Senorita from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Senorita tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dillishaw's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That was a close round but I would say that DJ Dillishaw will probably get the nod.
