Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Buflienko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Rob Zombie - Dragula as his entrance music. Ivan Buflienko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Buflienko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Brown! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buflienko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Buflienko tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance. Brown connects with a good right hand that stumbles Buflienko. Buflienko circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Buflienko tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance. Brown feints a jab promting Buflienko to slip. Brown then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Buflienko slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Buflienko wants to clinch and Brown counters with a thumping low kick. Buflienko wants to clinch but Brown slips to the side and Brown counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Buflienko down! Brown is looking to finish but Buflienko is intelligently defending himself.

It looks like Ivan Buflienko has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown prevents Buflienko from getting back to his feet. Oh Buflienko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Buflienko seems to have got his legs back now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matt Brown has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buflienko tries to clinch up and Brown counters with a body kick. Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Buflienko looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brown cracks the inside of Buflienko's front leg. Buflienko tries to clinch but fails miserably and Brown makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Brown scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown keeps the fight on the outside. Brown connects with a body shot that sends Buflienko's belly button to the back. Buflienko is breathing heavily. Buflienko is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Brown throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buflienko closes the distance but Brown moves to the side and Brown counters with a straight right hand. Buflienko tries to clinch but Brown moves away and Brown holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Brown with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Buflienko takes an elbow to the temple. Brown scores with a knee to the head.
Brown blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Brown using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Buflienko has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Brown with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Brown is looking to take this one to the mat. Brown lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Buflienko has a couple of punches blocked by Brown.
Brown unloads a knee to the mid-section. Buflienko lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Brown jumps into guard, dragging Buflienko to the mat.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Brown manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Brown throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Buflienko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Both fighters circling a little - Brown finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brown misses with a double jab.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Brown and Buflienko goes tumbling to the canvas! Brown follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. Brown controlling the pace. Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Matt Brown hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Brown lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Buflienko sprawling to the canvas. Brown follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Buflienko hang on? Brown stops Buflienko from getting back to his feet.
Brown is taking a breather. Buflienko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Matt Brown was stalling too much, according to the referee. Buflienko tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Brown dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ivan Buflienko's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Buflienko tries to get out of the position. Buflienko is looking to escape.

Buflienko is trying to maintain a safe position but Brown gets an underhook and turns Buflienko into the cage. Buflienko lands a hook that snaps the head of Brown backwards. Buflienko misses with a hook to the ribs.
