Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zhambyl Tulepbergenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Sin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zhambyl Tulepbergenov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lee Sin! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tulepbergenov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tulepbergenov. Tulepbergenov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sin pinned against the cage. Sin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhambyl Tulepbergenov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sin lands with a straight right. Tulepbergenov didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Zhambyl Tulepbergenov has been cut. Sin scoring well with a low kick there.
Tulepbergenov has his takedown stuffed and Sin counters with a nice uppercut. Tulepbergenov shoots in and gets a takedown into Sin's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tulepbergenov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sin is keeping the position for now. Tulepbergenov has gone for a leg lock! Sin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tulepbergenov's guard. Sin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tulepbergenov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sin trying to control the position from guard on top but Tulepbergenov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tulepbergenov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tulepbergenov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sin trying to control the position from guard on top but Tulepbergenov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tulepbergenov is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sin has his hands clasped together but Tulepbergenov extends and breaks Sin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tulepbergenov.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Zhambyl Tulepbergenov! A less than humble Zhambyl Tulepbergenov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. The defeated Lee Sin had this to say: 'We do what we must.'.
