Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gary Sun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Jel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jel tries to bum rush Sun with a series of wild strikes but Sun uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice takedown defense from Jel. No joy for Sun on that attempt.
Sun closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jel to the mat! Jel manages to get full guard.
Sun tries to free his leg and advance position but Jel is retaining full guard.

Jel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Wojtek Jel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Sun is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sun is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sun has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jel defend it? Sun steps over the head and cranks it - Jel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sun!
