Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandor Orkas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carneiro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Rasmus - In the Shadows. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sandor Orkas!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carneiro fails to land the takedown.

Carneiro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Orkas can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Carneiro throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Orkas can do anything to dispel that myth.

Daniel Carneiro decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
