The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lee gets a double leg takedown into Boone's guard.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boone swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boone definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Boone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
Boone wants to get back to his feet but Lee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Boone wants to stand up but Lee is controlling him.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lee.

Lee is working for a kimura but Boone is defending it quite comfortably.
Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Boone defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lee's arms.

Lee has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Boone! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lee gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
