Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walt Disney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Taylor ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walt Disney! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Disney tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center. Taylor misses with a right hand and Disney counters with a good low kick that Taylor was not able to check. Disney moves out of range as Taylor strikes. Taylor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jab, jab by Disney - just one landing. Disney's coach down at Canadian Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Disney's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Disney tries to sprawl but Taylor drives through with a takedown into half guard. Disney avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Taylor . Taylor looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Taylor throwing shots but Disney is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taylor perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Disney is looking for a sweep. Taylor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taylor stops Disney from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor controlling the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. David Taylor wasn't doing enough on the ground. Disney scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Taylor doesn't seem bothered though. Taylor thows a left - swing and a miss! Taylor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Disney is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Taylor . Taylor uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Disney. Taylor scores with a nice strike. Walt Disney is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Disney takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Taylor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Disney defends well and Taylor ends up having to push Disney into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor is looking for a takedown. Taylor can't break the clinch.
Taylor is trying to trip Disney. He has hold of a leg but Disney is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Taylor persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Disney is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Taylor looking to sit in guard and control but Disney gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Disney tries to stand but Taylor is controlling from the bottom. Taylor seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Disney is one step ahead there. Taylor pulls Disney in close to prevent any damage. Disney trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

David Taylor has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Taylor misses with an uppercut. Disney saw that one coming. Taylor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Disney sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taylor somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Taylor . That's going to take a lot out of him. Disney takes one to the chin there. Disney's jab looks to have found its range, popping Taylor under the eye. Disney dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Taylor . That did some damage! Walt Disney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Disney is looking to slow Taylor down with leg kicks. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Disney moves away. Taylor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Disney was well out of range. Poor timing from Taylor . Disney doesn't manage to clinch there - Taylor circles away.

Disney scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Taylor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Disney throws a sloppy head kick and Taylor moves out of range easily. Disney is looking to clinch. Taylor throws a lazy right hand but Disney sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Taylor checks a leg kick nicely. Disney misses with an uppercut
and Taylor counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Disney! Taylor scores with punches from side control. Taylor working the head with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Taylor throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Taylor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Taylor throws an elbow but Disney slips to the side and avoids it well. The referee asks Taylor politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Taylor prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor working the head with strikes. Disney can't do much from the bottom here. Disney is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Taylor asserts his dominance and retains side control. Taylor working the head and body with strikes. Taylor trying to control the position but Disney is working away. Taylor throws an elbow but Disney slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Taylor grinds an elbow into Disney's temple. Disney is trying to escape the position but Taylor is controlling the position. Taylor cracks Disney with a big right hand but Disney just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Taylor working the ground and pound but Disney is defending the strikes. Disney is looking for a sweep. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Disney is trying to escape the position but Taylor is controlling the position. Disney pushes Taylor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Taylor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor working the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Disney will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Taylor fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Taylor wants to control but Disney is keeping him busy. Taylor is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Disney's shoulder. That is not cool. Disney struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor looks up at the clock and then as Disney takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Taylor smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

David Taylor dominated that second round. That's time! Taylor 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Taylor checks a leg kick. Taylor scores with the left hand. Disney knows he should have avoided that one. Taylor misses with a wild body shot. Disney gets a clinch. Taylor has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Disney is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Disney wants to stall.
Disney prevents Taylor from breaking the clinch. Disney working Taylor over with knees to the body. Taylor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Disney has him pressed against the cage. Taylor tightens his grip and picks Disney up, before dumping him to the ground. Disney manages to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Disney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor content to stall in guard here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Taylor 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of David Taylor . Disney throws a quick inside leg kick. Disney walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Taylor checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. David Taylor is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor cracks Disney with an open hand slap. Disney misses with a leg kick. Disney fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Taylor . Disney moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. A bone on bone clash there as Taylor blocks the leg kick.
Disney misses with a straight right. Taylor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Taylor lands in his opponent's guard. Disney being controlled here, momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Disney is controlling Taylor 's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
We're going to have a standup here because David Taylor wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Disney buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Disney dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Taylor lands a body shot.
Disney swings for the body but Taylor moves out of range.
Disney jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Walt Disney has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Taylor lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. The fighters circling - Disney throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Disney clinches up with Taylor and pushes him back against the cage. Taylor lands a takedown into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Taylor controls from within his opponent's guard. Disney working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Taylor has passed into half guard!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David Taylor . Well I reckon that's a shut out for Taylor , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
