Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ronson is defended easily by Davies.
Ronson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Davies counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ronson won't be happy with that.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ronson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ronson tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Davies easily slips into full mount!
Davies has hold of Ronson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ronson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Davies really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ronson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ronson is wriggling around trying to escape.

Ronson shoots in looking for a takedown. Davies tries to sprawl out of it but Ronson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davies manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davies has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ronson is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Ronson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Davies pulls his leg out and moves away.

Davies shoots in and bounces Ronson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Well Davies has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
